My Bio
(Abajo esta la bio en español)

Hi there, thank you for reaching my page, and thank you for taking the time of reading this. So! where do I start? well, I first started drawing since I was 12 years old, doing drawings of Daredevil, Gambit, Scarlet Spider, Wolverine, etc. I remember how hours passed by and I would be very focused and carefully trying to make my drawings as similar as possible, with my coloured pencils, and having a break to read comics when my hand got tired of grinding the paper with colour... Then I discovered graffiti, and naturally I began doing my signs and draw little funny monsters and stuff like that... then I got older got into high school and started listening to Metal and punk and Grindcore and Noise and so my drawings got weirder and dark and psycodelic and violent, and naurally I got more hooked into drawing and painting than before, and so when I got the chance, I would be spending my free time drawing.

I've never considered myself an artist, I was more like "that guy that draws very cool" and that's it, and also because I started by just drawing things straight up from my imagination, just for the sake of seeing how it would look in paper, with no interest of showing it to people but neither hiding it away in a cold and dark chest.

So honestly, when I started drawing and painting I didn't see it like I was doing "art" (for me the concept of art was and STILL does, the works of art with 100% perfection, from masters like Velazquez, Da Vinci, Monet, Dore, Dali, Orozco, Siqueiros, the freaking "capilla sixtina", etc), the way I saw it, my drawings where just a piece of paper fully charged with some part of my ideas, an idea that was now in real life sending it's message to OTHER people (I know that sounds very very weird, in fact I'm asking myself why I'm writing this, but I'm trying to be honest with this shit so bare with me, thank you).

Where did I got that perception of my ideas you would ask? well, anytime I would show my works to people, most of the time they would make an interpretation, their meaning, what it meant for them, and that was MY FAVORITE PART OF DOING THIS, because everybody has it's own imagination, and seeing how my ideas reacted in other people's imagination was very powerful for me, and it still does, and that allowed me to conect with other people in a very good way, and for that I got many many friends, which is something I'm very grateful, for I was and still am a very lonely dude, but I got no problems with that, that's how I roll.

So in conclusion, that's the impact that drawing and painting has on me, hope you liked that short bio of myself (I've never done one before, as you can tell).

Anyway! feel free to say hi, give me your opinions, share your works and thoughts, I'm always open to know more people. Thank you.

Alex Ruiz.

////////////////////////////////

Gracias.

Alex Ruiz.

Just coming home from the cinema after watching X-men: Apocalypse, my verdict is: the movie is very good, rather good, BUT in my opinion I feel the plot could have been way more exciting, but all in all the movie's almost perfect, highly recommended,...

Alright, I finally uploaded some of the works I've done and sold from my project "Stencil Faktory", I was dubious about posting them because I wanted to create another DA account for SF's works only, but whatever, it's done, hope you people like them...
